Dr. Deyhim is a Foot & Ankle Specialist that is board certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Deyhim attended the University of Maryland, receiving a degree in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he obtained his medical degree at Temple University, School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Deyhim completed a three-year residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI.
He completed surgical training with emphasis on reconstructive ankle surgery, trauma and limb salvage. He was acknowledged as resident of the year and lead a team of surgeons as the chief resident. He coauthored award-winning research introducing novel techniques in ankle fracture fixation.
After completing residency, he continued pursuing academic goals by serving as a residency training instructor at one of America’s top podiatric residency programs INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He also assisted the National Board of Podiatric Medicine as a test writer.
As a native of Maryland, he returned to his hometown and joined Elite Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Center; a private multidisciplinary physician group affiliated with the University of Maryland, Baltimore Washington Medical Center where he held privileges and fostered a team approach tackling complex lower extremity pathologies.
Dr. Deyhim is excited to bring his extensive experience to Northern California and has opened Humboldt Foot & Ankle P.C. formally Family Foot Care Inc. in Fortuna. He envisions the practice as becoming Humboldt’s premiere podiatric health center.
He is an active staff member St. Joseph’s Hospital Eureka and Redwood Memorial Hospital where is committed to serving this community
